为了降低成本以及更好地服务游客，只有马埃岛国际机场和普拉兰岛机场的关键地点将保留在 STB 手中，而其他地点将根据新的特许经营协议加入，否则将被私有化致希望与 STB 合作的选定申请人。
新办事处还将充当一般售票处，为业主/运营商赚取佣金，而 STB 的主要重点可以是提供运营指南、描述政策以及为该国进行一般营销，而很大程度上保留旅游信息服务到私营部门。此次合作是 STB 新重点的结果，即成为一个强大的商业导向组织，为私营部门提供服务，同时履行其公共使命。
